Is Global Domains International Worth It? You Decide.
Article by Jonathan Brett
When I first read about Global Domains International I was skeptical at first. I had found out about the company through an online system that promised multiple streams of income, and one of those streams was GDI. But, because GDI promotes a Multi-Level income opportunity that goes “5 Levels” deep, I thought that this company was far too similar to a pyramid scheme. However, my reservations aside, I continued to research the company, trying to find out whether or not people actually were successfully using the program to generate income. I needed proof that this company was not a scam before I invested time and money into this program. Could it be possible that Global Domains International was not a scam, but a legitimate money making business opportunity? Could I really create an “Income For Life”, which the company promised? I had to find out before I made any decisions.
For those who have not heard of Global Domains International before, it is an online web hosting and domain name service. The hosting service costs ten dollars per month, with a free 7 day trial, and includes a unique.ws (dot Web Site) domain name. GDI is the exclusive provider of.ws (or “dot Web Site”) web addresses, a fact that the company claims is an advantage over the over-crowded.com market. The part of GDI’s business that drew me in was the income opportunity they are offering. Much the same as affiliate marketing, you can earn a ten percent commission for everyone you get to sign up through your affiliate links. You can get one dollar per month for every person you refer and who registers for GDI’s web hosting service, and a 0 bonus if you can sign five people up in a week. You also get a dollar per month for every person who signs up through one of your referrals, and this goes on for 5 levels.
It is this last point that usually causes people to worry about being scammed. Multi-Level Marketing, the sales model in which people can earn a commission off of someone else’s referrals, is sometimes thought of as a Pyramid Scam. In some cases people are convinced that they will make a fortune off of other people signing up other people to sign up other people, usually getting little in the way of a return on their investment. GDI, however, does offer a great service that should be considered first, as well as their affiliate program.
GDI offers the consumer a web hosting package, and provides with it a unique domain name. This service is well worth the per month, and the included affiliate program is quite the bonus. Most other web hosting companies offer their customers a chance to earn commissions by promoting their products, and GDI’s Multi-Level affiliate program is as strong as any other. Most companies, however, only offer a one-time payout, rather than a recurring monthly commission. The idea of GDI’s recurring monthly commission is quite appealing because of the opportunity it offers for someone to create a continuous supplemental, or even primary, income.
Many people wonder if using Global Domains International is a legitimate way to create online income. With their proven track record, recurring monthly income, and fantastic affiliate support in the form of ads, banners and videos, this company is definite worth looking into if you are looking for a relatively easy and legitimate way to start an online business.
